Wu Jie Chinese Dragon Boat Festival Duan. This is celebrated every year on the 5th of each month of the calendar day of May. This year the Duan Wu Jie appears on the solar calendar 6 June to celebrate. Today, some of the other villages celebrate the holidays or perhaps a longer than normal depending on the type of race. But, great poet followed May commemorate Qu Yuan, the fifth day.
