Gabe Kaplan Out As ‘High Stakes Poker’ Replaced By Norm MacDonald

People on the Game Show Network has once again changed to “High Stakes Poker”, and it is unlikely the better. Gabe Kaplan is out as host of the show after six seasons and replaced by comedian Norm MacDonald.

Kaplan worked solo in the last season, when it fell a bit flat without AJ Benz is still the best poker analyst. McDonald was an actor ‘delighted’ (according to GSN’s press release), but he will not be able to make money ‘match’ condition at Kaplan experience.

The new season premieres at 8 on Feb. 26, but I’m running the reasons to watch.
