The film is billed as the story of three stories of the ways in which women use their bodies to get what they want and what is more or less accurate. All three stories stars Sophia Loren as a woman, and Marcelo Mastroianni as a man in her life. The first story is called “Adelina”, where Loren plays a woman in a suburb of Naples.
It was long the furniture in the house, she and her husband live, and it is to get to where you can go to jail for fraud. But there is an exception in the Italian law (or so says the film) to a mother who is pregnant or nursing, can be put in jail. So Adelina gets a brilliant idea, they could avoid going to jail until it is either pregnant or breastfeeding their last child.
